FAQ
Where are your Creek Sessions located?
Creek sessions typically take place on my property in the beautiful Oley Valley. Only fifteen minutes from town, our creek is nestled away in the woods down an easy walking path, providing a private experience to be truly present and immersed in nature together. A close-by parking area and well-maintained trail allow for convenient access to and from the creek.
What should I expect?
Expect an adventure! There is a short, easy walk through the woods to the creek from the parking area, and there are some uneven or muddy spots in the river, so water shoes and a pair of dry shoes to change into are advised. A beach towel for drying your feet might be a good idea, too. Bug spray and sunscreen may also be a good idea, although the creek area is shaded so there's a minimal chance of getting sunburn. Bringing water and snacks isn't a must, but they might come in handy!
What should I wear?
You should wear whatever your heart desires. Creek sessions are all about being present and feeling your best, so wear what makes you feel good! If you'd like some suggestions on coordinating outfits I'm always happy to provide some styling guidance.
Where will I be parking?
Our driveway is the closest parking option to the creek. It's less than a two minute walk from the parking area to the creek down a wide, easily traversed trail.
What time of day is best for Creek Sessions?
The creek receives beautiful light throughout the day but has plenty of shade for sessions during even the hottest months. That being said, I personally find the light to be at its best in the morning and early afternoon, from about 8am until about 3:30pm.
